Play Up Pompey!
I have a really good young striker whose left foot is very weak. He scores nearly every time when he shoots with his right foot but when he shoots with his left it goes harmlessly wide. Is "Avoids using weaker foot" a good ppm to teach him or would it be better to leave it? Also, as he has very good dribbling and agility, would teaching him "Likes to round the keeper" be a good idea as he couldn't possibly miss with his left foot if it was an open goal? themadsheep2001
I dont see why you shouldnt teach both, I would start with "avoids weaker foot" If he is technically gifted and creative/flaired enough he will also do things like use the outside of his right foot. Just my opinion though
Mechanizator
Players involved in defensive actions need more solid, confident play, so it is useful to avoid weaker foot for them. Players involved in attacking, creative actions do not need it.
Camb0dia
Look at ozil, even when he plays on the right, a lot of the time he uses his left foot for crossing, if he is one foot dominant, I dont see it as an issue
bolulu
This "weaker foot" nonsense option has been around in the game for way too long. I always ignore it. For goodness sake, isn't it obvious that the player should avoid using his weaker foot" until he's taken the time to train himself up a little more in it? lemeures
on older versions a player could improve his weaker foot by training in his spare time? would like to see something like that added rather than it never change. although you could never train a player to be equal on both feet to get a weaker foot to say average level should be possible
