Ground Maintenance?

I'm playing as Ajax in 2014-2015, and I just noticed that the club is spending $6.5m a month on ground maintenance!! Is this normal? I don't remember ever spending this much in other games.

Nobody knows?

As Celtic I am only spending 604,000 a month on ground maintenance. Sorry, not sure why you're spending so much. Maybe start a new game and compare ground costs with your current save.

I think it's down to 'De Toppers' performing there way to often.

I'm playing as Ajax in 2022 and I'm only paying £580k a month. The stadium has also been expanded to jsut short of 70k. Is there some work going to improve the training or youth facilities or expand the stadium?

Yes -- improving both training and youth facilities. I didn't realize that this would go under 'ground maintenance'. That's interesting though that you were able to expand the stadium -- it tells me that it's already at expansion capacity so has never given me the option.

I never asked for the stadium to be expanded. The club had about £20m in the bank at the end of both seasons and the board automatically expanded at a cost of £11m for 8400ish seats. Club is still selling out the entire stadium almost every game.

Spent 103 million Euros in 2020/21 on ground maintenance, playing as PAOK. :confused: The board did not allow me for more than 5 years to even ask for expansion/new stadium.

LOL, I've just realized that we are moving in 12K larger capacity stadium in 2 years. Maybe that's the reason for such expenses. I really don't know why ground expansion news are not highlihted. Easy to miss them in loads of scouting reports.
