lam
Hi, got a nasty bug on my machine so I am going for a full wipe and install at some point this week (when i have 10 hours spare ) Can someone please advise me what files I need to save and where to find them if I want to pick up my saved game and applied settings (tactics, training etc etc) after my new install? FrazT
All your personal files are stored in the SI folder in your Documents folder- save all of that and then reinstall the game and transfer them back and you should be OK.

FrazT
Rememeber as well that if you clean the computer, you will almost certainly lose all the hardware drivers, so ensure that these, directX and Java are all fully updated, especially the graphics card. Le Tissier's Nose
DON'T FORGET THE HALL OF FAME FILE!! hall_of_fame.dat will need to be saved to a memory stick too, it's in User/Public/Documents/Sports Interactive or somewhere similar - it is NOT in your normal SI folder along with everything else. This problem virtually killed my 30 season save as I'd been working so hard to eclipse Alex Ferguson as the number 1 worldwide manager, only to lose all my Hall of Fame points including my first ever World Cup win :-(
