Cougar2010 Posted April 9, 2012 Share Posted April 9, 2012 To be an EU player they need to hold an EU passport, in FM terms this means taking on a 2nd nationality from within the EU. Different countries have different rules regarding length of time to gain nationality from around 2-5 years and its also possible even with the required time that a player will decline to take nationality although this seems to be fairly rare.
