mrmojorisin Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 Right, iv just started my 3rd season with NUFC and just as the season starts i get the message that Mike Ashley is looking to sell the club, which is by the by as it always happens, but the bizarre thing is is that the person leading the consortium is a certain Steve Harper, is it a coincidence that former NUFC keeper Steve Harper has recently retired from the game completely, so i go to FMRTE to get more info and low and behold it is him, same age same relations 20 for goalkeeping etc....... Now i know NUFC were well known for overpaying their staff but i doubt Harper could have mustered that much coin to buy the club, im regretting not playing and ultimately releasing him on a free now as he may well want to replace me..........
