However, instead of managing Vaduz, I was going to holiday through the first season and take over as manager of Balzers if/when they get promoted from the 3rd (unplayable) tier. I dug up a few older threads which have concerned me a bit. So, basically, I'd like clarification on the following (for FM12): 1) Is the Liechtenstein Cup in the game or does Vaduz automatically get entered into the Europa League each year (essentially, making building up Balzers useless)? 2) Can Liechtenstein teams, or more specifically Balzers, qualify for the Champions League? No, they can't. are you sure other teams cant qualify through the swiss system? and Vaduz cant as they always enter the europa league. I would imagine it would just be a bit like cardiff or swansea.
