IRL I was never injured, then at the age of 30 I developed shin splints. After that I was the most crocked player ever. I can't even balance on one leg anymore. Smurf Posted March 28, 2012 Share Posted March 28, 2012 I would say it's because of the way you're playing him in your tactics, and also that the opposition has targeted him for a kicking. I play him up front on his own as a trequrista(sp?) and I have Xavi, Inestia and Sanchez playing behind him .................Messi ....Xavi...Iniesta....Sanchez I feel this gives the other defenders more to handle and gives support to Messi - he's scoring like he does in real life in my game - and I don't remember the last time he was injured.
