I have a good CV far better than managers who eventually get the position. Is this normal? gmcker Posted March 20, 2012 Share Posted March 20, 2012 I'm not sure this is new - some countries have a bias towards a local manager - I think the weighting of foreign and local manager is in the database. Also your international reputation may not be big enough. I have definitely lost out to regen managers from that country but then again I'm hardly a cup/league winning manager though was recently offered (and rejected) the Everton job (so my local rep is fine).
