Some clubs already have three my side only has two, anyone know how I can acquire another one? I thought you could trade for them but this is not true. Magnakai Haaskivi Posted March 18, 2012 Share Posted March 18, 2012 I got an e-mail confirming that I could purchase a third slot for my Portland side; it costs like $100k, and (in reality, at least) that money is divided up amongst the teams that DON'T utilize three DPs. So if you and three other teams have three DPs, the rest of the clubs SHOULD receive $100k/14 teams in allocation money. In reality, though, I never recall actually getting this money, and that part may have been left out. It also might have to do with whether or not your board sanctions having three DPs. It was a season or so ago; I'm pretty sure I'd won the league that year, and the Supporter's Shield the year before. Thing is, I only had one DP on my roster (Diego Chara, who starts with the club), so the idea that I'd need a third when I didn't have a second was kind of silly.
