Possible Spanish reserve team bug

Not sure if this is a bug or not so posting here first.

I'm signing a player in January who in the summer joined Sevilla from Bursaspor, he hasn't worked out at Sevilla and as such has played for their reserve squad (which on FM are a separate side - Sevilla Atletico, who play in the second division.) As a result of this I can't bring him in until the summer rather than January as he has played for 3 clubs already this year.

Now if I'm being honest, I don't know if this would be the case in real life or if this is a problem that is limited to FM. I also haven't been on the forums in a while so I don't know if a bug report for something like this has already cropped up, if anyone could advise whether this has been reported/is a bug - that'd be great - if it is I'm happy to do a report, just don't want to wrongly, if it isn't.
