yoponz58
I was going to post under an earlier thread, but this does seem a slightly different issue... My computer had to shut down earlier today, while my FM 12 game was on in the background (not being played), and I was unable to quit FM before the shut down. Now, when I tried to re-load FM, it installed the new update, but when I click launch/play a little Steam box comes up saying 'completing installation', and gets stuck on 2%. Not really fussed about the update, as am a long way through my save, but it won't let me play FM at all now! Help please.

yoponz58
Tried that Neil, said all files are verified. Also tried turning Steam offline and restarting - no joy there either.
Administrators Neil Brock Posted March 8, 2012 Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2012 Have you tried verifying again? Sometimes it can take a couple of attempts. If that doesn't work, may be worth right-clicking on it and trying 'delete local content' then let it re-download and install. Let me know how you get on, thanks. yoponz58
may be worth right-clicking on it and trying 'delete local content' then let it re-download and install. Would I need to secure my saves if I do this?
Administrators Neil Brock Posted March 8, 2012 Administrators Share Posted March 8, 2012 No, it'll only delete the game, everything in your 'My Documents' folder will remain.
yoponz58
Did the latter option Neil, and all sorted. Many thanks for your help.
