Help with FM Speed

one of my games is running incredibly slow, im in 2022 and my file size is not bad, but its running incredibly slow, my other saves or running very fast still, but just not this. any tips on increasing the speed?

Try switching all the detail level options to none. On the game, FM/Detail level (just underneath 'add/remove leagues' and just above 'manager chat')

Are you running alot of Leagues? I'd remove any Leagues which your not managing in/ don't intend on managing in for a while.

Then just add them once again in the future, if you fancy managing in them.

there is one league active, but i had a extra editor data in my game, could this be slowing it down. i have reduced everything and its slightly faster.

Erm I'm not sure, what data file is it?

If it's a retain all players sort of a editor data file, then that could slow your game down.

ive removed the editor data from my game and it seems a bit faster.

I know there used to be a problem with previous FMs where if you exported a shortlist with a large amount of players in it, to genie scout/fmrte, it would cause the game to lag ridiculously.

It could be that.

What database size did you chose when you started the save? Was it the same as your other save games that are still running fast?

Also what year are you in on the other saves? FM does start to run more slowly the further you get on the game, as the file size increases etc.

Do you have 'compress saved games' ticked? That can help.

in some games i am in 2030, its running good at the moment now thanks.
