This is because the people who produce the unofficial updates update the game daily throughout the transfer window (i imagine) Why don't SI do this therefore having the patch ready and tested for an earlier release rather than make us wait a good 5-8 weeks after the transfer window has shut Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Cougar2010 Posted March 2, 2012 Share Posted March 2, 2012 SI's data update is much more comprehensive than any that a user does. Besides the obvious transfers SI also have to update teams in every playable league, make data changes to individual players & teams. Then when all that is done it has to be fully tested alongside the new patch with any problems being fixed before it gets released to the public.
