sykohitman69
Hey, I'm not sure where to post this so apologies if this is the wrong forum. Basically, I bought a used copy of FM2012 from Play.com. I received the game this morning, and tried installing through Steam and everything. But everytime I put in the product activation key, it came back saying it was a 'duplicate key'. Is there anyway I can install this game at all? Thankyou for your help. Nottingham Forest
Once a key has been used, it can't be re-used. So basically you've been conned. Each key registers to a Steam account and once it's connected to a Steam account, it can't be re-used.
Guest
Chances are the person who originally bought the game activated it & then decided to make a few quid by selling an unusable disc, you're best bet is to get in touch with Play.com.
Welshace
indeed... if play.com are selling it... you can demand a refund
sykohitman69
Thanks guys, I'll get in touch with them right away. I've contacted the seller but heard nothing back yet. Guess I'll have to pay full price for it, ah well. Thankyou anyway though, much appreciated.
Chicha_14
Don't know why you didn't just buy a new copy anyway. It's going for £15 on Amazon now and even though its been out a good 5 odd months its still well worth the money.
