In non-league games there's almost always somebody in admin, and even in the Football League. However, the biggest club I've seen go into admin was Liverpool in FM10. It would be nice to see more made in the news feed of clubs being in financial trouble. It's such a big part of football news coverage these days, but doesn't really come up much in FM. It would also help for those moments when clubs are suddenly willing to sell players cheaply which you normally only stumble across by accident. Things Could Get Messi Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 Saw Wigan go down to League 2 on an old save and have to start the season on -10 points after going into administration. Rochdale (bottom of league 2), AFC Wimbledon (bottom of BSP, shame on you SI!) and Dagenham (23rd in BSP) are all in administration in the 2016/17 season on my save. shirajzl Posted February 25, 2012 Share Posted February 25, 2012 I started with Vauxhall Motors in Blue Square North, won the league in the 1st season and in June got the message from the board we're building a brand new 5k seater, costing us 2 million pounds. They secured 1 million from sponsors and whatnot, but other was nowhere to be found. Result? 1 million in the red, the FA blocked our account and we started the next season with -10 points! Luckily, after two months the board managed to get a loan from a bank and we continued to function normally (the points deduction remained, though). We're paying back our loan until 2027. JamesR81 Posted February 25, 2012 Author Share Posted February 25, 2012 As you said Oxford its a big part of football nowadays would be good to have it more realistic and maybe even include drug bans like Adrian Mutu's and maybe even match fixing Like Juve with relevent punishments of course.
