I've just played them in the FA Cup in my second season with Newcastle, 2012/13, and they were from what I recall floating around the top of League 1. In my FM11 career game, they dropped to the conference quite early and never really got above League 2 after that through to the 2040s. Not played long enough in FM12 to comment.
