robertolfc90
I bought fm12 from a friend, and can't install it as the verification code has been used. Is there any way I can amend this? Many thanks
Kriss
Not much of a friend:( the authentication code is attached to the Steam account used to authenticate and can only be used with it.
robertolfc90
Can it be permanently removed from the old steam account? Failing this, I assume having his login details will suffice?
Chicha_14
You will need to log into his steam account to play the game. That shouldn't be a problem after he has sold you the game, unless he uses it to play other games. You can also get the game new now for 15 odd quid. Guest
Take it back to this friend, get your money back & make sure you give him a receipt, my choice would be a nice dead arm.

I'm afraid not, it's against Steam's terms of use to log into somebody elses account, or to pass an account to somebody else.
