FatBarStud
I read on here a while ago, a thread that said Jumping did not have an effect on how good a keeper was, I think there was actually a post from an SI guy that said this. In the game on the pop-up advice texts it contradicts this and says that Jumping is indeed an attribute needed for a good GK, could someone please clarify this for me? I found a quality GK, but his jumping is only 7 and would like to check. Cheers big ears!
Administrators Neil Brock Posted February 9, 2012 Administrators Share Posted February 9, 2012 Yeah I think that's a text error - last time I checked it didn't make a difference, all the jumping stats for goalkeeping come under 'Aerial Ability' - I'm fairly certain that's the case, but will try and check to confirm for definite. FatBarStud
Thanks Neil, be helpful to know for certain.
looknohands
How important are agility and balance? Newgen keepers generally seem to have low pace and acceleration (5 or 6 for each) and then 12+ for agility and balance.
Johnjo
Jumping seems to be loosely tied too aerial ability as far as I have seen. What 'AA' does your 7 jumping guy have? It can be important for catching crosses and corners. Agility for me is important as it seems to be tied to one on ones which is the most important stat for my keepers. Yes my defence is lousy. Balance isn't a dealbreaker.
