any plans for 64bit and open CL/cuda in forth coming FM versions?

64bit = more memory available to the program

open CL/cuda = massive parallel processing power

surely the inclusion of both these features could allow a user to then run every league+player in the game in full detail. i get massive performance increases using openCL with video encoding and my rendering work.

nearly every modern computer or laptop these days have some form of compatible graphics system that can run open CL or cuda.

Already the game supports some elements of 64-bit (you can run many more leagues on 64 than 32) but it is something we're aware of and looking into. Not an easy process obviously, but yeah, it's something certainly worth investigating.

This is excellent to read.

Open CL, Cuda, DirectCompute and others - systems where you can use the considerable linear processing power of your graphic card(s) to "help out" the processor. As we know, FM has only moderate demands in the 3D rendering bit, but high demands in processing power. Modern graphic cards has considerable processing power available in their cpu's, which could be utilised better for computing.

That's where Cuda etc. comes into play.
