luke4387
Hi Sorry if this is in the wrong section but I need some urgent help! I have not been connected to the Internet for a little while and have been playing FM offline. Last night I went online via Steam and was informed that an item was downloading (Data Editor Update apparantly) and presumed everything was fine. I went to use the Editor and for some reason, once loaded, the background was a mustard/yellow colour, the text all over the place and I could not click anything to make changes or exit. Unfortuantely I am at work so cannot post a screenshot but I have done a Google search and cannot find an answer there! Please guys, can someone help me!? Thank you in advance! magicmastermind124
I had this problem. The answer to resolve the problem is to delete the cache found in a hidden folder. I have created an XML (or DBC) file, but it is not appearing in game? How to delete your cache files First of all you need to turn on hidden files and folders. Go to My Computer and at the top select 'Tools' then 'Folder Options'. Then go to the 'View' tab and select 'Show hidden files and folders' Windows XP: 1. Open 'My Computer' 2. Navigate to C:\Documents and Settings\<Username>\Application Data\ 3. Go into the 'Sports Interactive' folder 4. Delete any 'Football Manager' folder Windows Vista: 1. Click 'Start' 2. Click your username on the Start Menu 3. Click on 'AppData' and then 'Roaming' 4. Go into the 'Sports Interactive' folder 5. Delete any 'Football Manager' folder Mac OSX: 1. Open Finder 2. Select <User> 3. Navigate to Library\Caches\Sports Interactive 4. Remove any “Football Manager” Folder Those are the instructions in the editor FAQ, but replace Football Manager folder with Editor 2012. Your editor settings may be lost (columns, resolution etc) but it should sort the problem.
