Latest Update - Steam

Ok recently I had to wipe my computer due to various reasons, so of course that included losing both FM and Steam.

I reinstalled them, cleared both the cache and defragged the game, however I am stuck on version 12.0.0

Is there a way I can bring my game back up to date to the latest available version?

I have tried the Steam forums but getting help over there seems to take ages.

You are not on 12.0.0 - that is the database which wasn't updated with the patches. Check the game version under preferences/game setup and you will see it has updated.

Are you sure you're on version 12.0.0? There hasn't been a database update for the game yet, so when you start a new game the database will show as 12.0.0. If you load a game and go on to the Game Status page, it should say version 12.1.1.

Sorry if you've already checked this, but it's easy to get confused between the database version and the game version!
