RedRock1986 Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 I've got a monkey on my back about playing the new game but I don't want to start my lower league long term save before the new patch comes out. Is there anything considered fundamentally 'game breaking' that will be fixed in the new patch? Or will the main changes be transfers? Thanks! nine_iron Posted February 4, 2012 Share Posted February 4, 2012 If you start a new game the only thing that will not change is the database, any match engine or interface improvements are almost certainly save compatible. So go ahead, start, build your squad, play some friendlies for fitness but try to have a range of tactics just in case the current best ones dont work so well. I find FM is just like any other game, you have to find the best way of beating it and unlike a lot of games there are many ways to win at FM. You have to balance between what is your style, what works well on the version of the game you are playing and what works well against WHO you are playing against!
