Padders Posted February 3, 2012 Share Posted February 3, 2012 Why can't you offer a contract to an unattached player until another team has offered the player a contract first? It only happens to a few players, but it's very annoying if you want to get the first contract offer in to beat any rivals for his signature. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

DarthCraigus Posted February 3, 2012 Share Posted February 3, 2012 I have had this happen once or twice also, but I advanced a few days in the game and tried again and it seemed fine - Seemed to be if I'd already offered a contract and walked away from the deal for any reason IIRC.
