For low ratings I usually go Private chat first, tell them they need to improve or lose place in team. Then if it keeps going start with the fines. I usually find the private chat does the trick, any player who doesnt get motivated after that doesnt deserve to be in my team Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've never even considered fining a player for playing badly. Since I started warning players for red cards - regardless of the offence - my squad discipline rating has been maxed out.
