La Grande Inter
What about the physio and the physio rating. What effects do a high rating have. Injury time is static so is the rating just how accurately the physio estimate injury time or have it other effects such as how long a player is off the pitch when getting cold sprayed? RedRedRobin
I always thought it was more of a competency thing - the higher the rating was, the better they were at treating injuries.
Ollep7
Nah better physios give your players better treatments, they can recover faster. There was a study on this forum I think comparing this issue and it does make a difference in return time. Of course the injury time doesn't change greatly: if a player broke his arm don't expect him to play the next game. But there is a time frame for an injury and physios help speed it up. shakeable
I think this is the study Ollep7 is referring to. http://www.thedugout.net/content/articles/item,101,9,1,The_Physiotherapist.html

hhhonlyfan1984
yes better physio rating quicker on most of the injuries can be sorted or healed. eg i had a physio of rating 6 in my basingstoke save and he predicted player would be out for between 4 weeks and 3 months which really isnt great. a better rated physio would probably have given a better time window eg 2 to 3 months
