Wiitastic
So I have FM12 on my laptop & my desktop computer. I played a little bit last night on my laptop and saved it to 14th August. Went on my desktop pc this morning to see all saves are back at July 25th. This is what I don't understand. What do I have to do to make it so if I play on my laptop one day and save it, I can hop onto my desktop pc and continue from where I saved it the next day ? Both the laptop & desktop pc are both verified with Steam aswell :confused:
mije1983
Stupid question number 1. You did transfer the save game over didn't you?
AytchMan
Steam doesn't store your saves on the web. Unless the laptop and desktop are networked, you'll have to manually copy the save file back and forth.
Drazkul
Saves are stored on the machine u use. You would need to copy your save file over with a usb drive if you want to use two machines.
Carmi88
steam does not do cloud saving as the FM12 save is too big, you need to transfer your save game each time
nine_iron
If they are on the same network then you could save them to the public folders. Then you can access them from either machine as long as both are turned on. If not do you have some kind of network attached storage (NAS) that you can use? One of the best things I did was encourage my family to set it up. Now everyone dumps photos etc to public areas and we can all share things we want to. Even the TV is connected and we can just pull things up. My next stop is wireless digital photoframes accessing it so the wedding pictures can proudly show up anywhere at any time!
