player wages

how do you lower player wages of older players or players who are average at the club yet demand twice the wage they are currently one like one player who is on 3k a week demand 7k a week it is really frustrating .

i normally do it in about febuary to march mate then sometimes seem to take lower

I just keep trying to get them to accept my offer, if they don't then they are welcome to find employment elsewhere.

Sometimes you can wait them out, particularly as their contract nears expiration. Most will drop their demands, sometimes dramatically, immediately after they enter the six-month window or right after the contract actually expires. Also, you may be able to boost clauses on which you know they will never collect.

il try some ways said here then still is silly really thought older players in rl would take wage reductions i think 2007 seemed best for this i remember Ryan Gggs van der sar etc always seemed to take a pay cut for a new contract say but 10k of there wage .

I find that the closer you get to the contract end date, the lower the wage demands.

I use this technique quite a lot of the time aswell. It helps for signing back up players on relatively low wages too. They are highly unlikely to make the team of the year and therefore the money is never paid.
