Saint_Lane
You've all seen it, your star players come down with the commom cold and your faced with the dilemna of sending him home to avoid it spreading amongst your players or risk it and leave him to the physio for a quicker recovery time... But how does 'leaving it to the physio' increase his recovery time? Does the physio know something we dont about the common cold and flu? Does he have special medicines not known to everyone else? How does a common football physio fight the common cold any better than the doctor or dosing up on paracetamol and warm squash?
CityAndColour
Because if the player goes home he'll likely lie around in bed playing FM. At the club he'll get proper medication, proper foods and be monitored by professionals. At least that's how I've always understood it.
