Ant
St Roch's Football Club is a Scottish football club, based in Provanmill, Glasgow. Nicknamed "the Candy Rock", they were formed in 1921 and play at Provanmill Park. The team is currently managed by David Greig, assisted by Joe McCall and Patrick Parker. A revamped team for the 2009/2010 season has the club and fans in excitement with its blend of youth and experience. They currently compete in the West Region of the Scottish Junior Football Association. They wear yellow and green strips (uniforms). St Roch's was the first club of James "Jimmy" McGrory, the British record goalscorer with 550 goals. McGrory, who grew up in the Garngad area where the club originated, began playing for them aged just 16. After helping the club win the Scottish Junior Cup in 1922, scoring in the final, he joined Celtic the following season.
