Allow extended leave

Recommended Posts

I use it all the time. The most recent example is, my physio informed me that my star player needed at least 2 weeks off so i did as he said and when he came back he scored a hat trick in his first game back, so i would say to you "long term pain for long term gain"

I check the physio's recommendation as soon as the players are back from the summer leave, and follow the advices - but never at any other times. I am rotating the squad a lot, and I very rarely see any yellow markers (needs a rest) on any of my players.

My question is not to do with fitness but still has regards to extended leave.

I have a player who is having trouble settling into the UK. One of the options is to offer him some extra time out to help him adapt. If I choose this, how long will he be unavailable for?
