nine_iron Posted January 18, 2012 Share Posted January 18, 2012 Steam has a feature to manage and update video card drivers automatically, it works rather well. Updating of video drivers is useful to support new games, fix known bugs or improve functionality/general use Occasionally it can cause some graphical problems with older games but that is rare and I have only experienced that once in over 6 years of PC gaming, it was simply resolved by rolling back to the previous driver and updating when the new one was replaced with a fixed update. Updating is not mandatory and rolling back should be easy if required but the need to do that will be VERY unlikely if you are just playing FM.
