Adz10
Won everything with Arsenal for seasons on end. Beckham was out of contract and a free agent but wont even listen to a contract offer. Henry bid accepted but wont listen to a contract offer either, even from his beloved club?! Is it hardcoded into the game that you simply cannot sign MLS players or hardcoded into these players that they cannot be signed? thanks for taking the time to answer. arsenalthebest
No reason why you can't sign MLS players, I just believe that those two are hard coded to stay at their current club till they retire. well they need to change it for henry hes at arsenal(on loan)atm
Adz10
im not fussed about the data update. the point of this thread was to determine if such players will ever discuss a contract with a club, or is it secretly coded into the game that they wont ever. milnerpoint
Well Beckham has already said he wont play in England again so i dont see an issue there, Henry im really not sure about.
jimmyt86
I have asked on a couple of threads whether it will be easier to sign MLS players on short term loans but with no answer. So it's hard-coded for them to not leave their clubs yet Landon Donovan, who has said he will finish his career in the MLS, always moves in the first transfer window!! Finishing his career in the MLS doesn't rule out moving to europe and going back to the MLS later.
