Version Help

So all of a sudden about 9 out of every 10 attempts to load a save fails and on the one time that I do get the game loaded I can't save the changed files. I couldn't figure out what was wrong, but then, as I prepared to start a new game out of frustration, I noticed that the version the game is running is 12.0.0 which is odd as I have downloaded/installed all of the available patches. Steam is set to automatically keep the game up to date so I assume that the patches are still downloaded and installed. And, as I was writing this an update seems to have downloaded and installed. I decided with optimism to check and see if the problem was fixed, but alas it was not. When I attempt to save a receive a "The game could not be saved" message and then the game filed is changed from "GameFile" to "GameFile (backup)" and each time I attempt to save another (backup) is added to the file name. I'd prefer not to reinstall the game, but if there are no other solutions I suppose I shall.

All the fixes released so far have not included any database update so that remains at 12.0.0. The current game version is 12.1.1. and this is available under game staus in the drop down menu under FM on the home page.
