David_Eaton
Hi fellow Players Can anyone tell me if there is a way I can transfer a game on my iPhone to iPad and vice versa?
SI Staff Marc Vaughan Posted January 7, 2012 SI Staff Share Posted January 7, 2012 Please follow the instructions here: http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/254587-iFMH-How-to-extract-and-send-us-your-save-game-file (that will retrieve your save game - then connect the iPad and you can reverse the steps to copy it onto that)

SI Staff Alari Naylor Posted January 9, 2012 SI Staff Share Posted January 9, 2012 Try simply dragging and dropping the file from your computer into the pane showing the files in the FM 2012 file sharing section.
David_Eaton
Yeah I've done that and they show them there then I sync it and it doesn't show on my pad/phone. So confused. Is there a step by step guide???????
SI Staff Alari Naylor Posted January 10, 2012 SI Staff Share Posted January 10, 2012 You shouldn't need to sync the device manually in this instance. Where is the save game not showing up - in the 'Load game' screen on the device? Is it a manual save or an autosave?
David_Eaton
It's not showing up in either!!
SI Staff Alari Naylor Posted January 10, 2012 SI Staff Share Posted January 10, 2012 If you try the following can you let me know what you see?: 1. Close down app 2. Open up iTunes on your computer 3. Select the device you want to transfer the game onto 4. Click 'Apps' at the top, go down to the 'File Sharing' section and click 'FM 2012' 5. Open up the folder on your computer with the save game file in - as described by the link above the file will have either the name hidden.dat (autosave) or fm_save1.dat to fm_save4.dat (manual saves) 6. Drag the file into the pane in the file sharing section saying 'FM 2012 Documents' 7. Boot up the app 8. Click either [Load Game] or [Continue Game] (the former will appear if it was a manual save, the latter if an autosave)
