Players standing there

In my AFC Wimbledon save, Bouzanis is set to a sweeper keeper. This means he is supposed to rush out and gather loose balls? Wrong. Unless the ball comes right into the area, he charges about halfway to the ball, then stands and watches the opponent score. My defenders often also stand the wrong side of players when defending a setplay.

I cannot see how this is tactics. Even so, what player, even at this level, would stand the wrong side of an opponent, or wander halfway towards the ball before stopping?

Needs fixing - I'd rather see my keeper go off for a rash tackle occasionally than see him let in this many goals.
