Im sure the manager is sat plotting the players he needs to compete in the new league, looking forward to laying on a sunny beach with his championship medal around his head. News comes through that the chairman wants a chat, off you go expecting a nice budget for the upcoming season when: Here is the table: The second manager has taken on a rough job. 15 games in a Grimsby are in dire straights. -9 points as administration has struck and a record of W0 D1 L14 leads to Mark Stimson being sacked. In comes the new boss, Robbie Stockdale knowing that relegation is as good as it gets but its his first job and thinks he can help bring good times back to Blundell Park. Although still rooted to the bottom he turns the results around with only 3 defeats in 13 games, when 65 days into the job he also gets the dreaded new the chairman wants a chat. SACKED, BECAUSE THE POOR FINANCIAL STATE OF THE CLUB.... This is a club that were already in administration when he took over, a club that sacked the previous manager for getting 1 point out of 15 games!
