Footie Manager on the Mac

I've been thinking, for a short while now, about moving over to a Mac after years of having a PC. I've got a pretty decent machine, but the only game I actually play on the machine these days is Football Manager! So the PC is primarily used for watching the occasional film, managing my iTunes library, syncing my gadgets, surfing the web and the odd bit of Microsoft Word. Not exactly a strain for the machine I spent a fair bit on.

After playing around with a friends Mac last night I would quite like to get one but the only thing concerning me (other than my inability to not spend money on things I don't really need) is how far behind the release (of the main game and patches) the Mac version of FM is compared to the PC. I've not taken any notice of this previously, but now I'm wondering if anyone on here is running the Mac version and might care to enlighten me?

Its exactly the same, same release date for the game and patches.

It's completely identical, installed with Steam so any updates for the game are at the same time on PC as Mac. Completely identical.

Thanks for the response! I seem to remember, last time I took any notice of the Mac, the updates were sometimes a few days behind the PC? Nice to know they are now identical.

Because updates are made on Steam they are universally applied to PC and Mac at the same time.
