StanleyBowles
It is somewhat frustrating as people forget this is the man that was crucial to Liverpool's treble success in the mid-2000s. Owen and Heskey upfront, for both 'Pool and England, were an excellent partnership. Secondly, when he burst on the scene with Leicester I can remember being genuinely excited - it's a shame his mentality just wasn't that of a top, top pro. ManUTactician247
End of season 1, Heskey played 20 games for Villa, scored a measly 2 goals and 2 assists, got a goal in 6 cup games as well. No appearances for England as well.
dazbowski
Heskey has never been a "great" striker. He was a very good target man.

Off topic; M.Owen is a coach for City, VDV completely retired off the game so you couldn't click his name anymore and then came back from the dead to become an Ajax scout?!? now i can click on him again.
