Mons Posted December 26, 2011 Share Posted December 26, 2011 I believe I read an SI staff member who posted saying that youth teams qualify for the nextgen tournament based on their senior club's reputation and the classification of the youth team in the previous year's domestic youth competition. I'm paraphrasing but it basically means that it depends on how big a club you are and how well your youth team does. It's definitely variable and changes from year on year.
