Barcelona Academy Challenge

The idea of this challenge is to build a squad at Barcelona which is completely homegrown from the academy. And then see how many trophies you can win with 75% of the squad homegrown.

These are the points for the challenge

Points for winning trophies (HG Squad - 75%)

La Liga - 10
Copa Del Rey - 7.5
Champions League - 15
UEFA Cup - 10
Spanish SuperCup - 5
European SuperCup - 5
World Club Championship - 7.5

Points for winning trophies (Squad with less than 75%)

La Liga - 3
Copa Del Rey - 2
Champions League - 5
UEFA Cup - 3
Spanish SuperCup - 1
European SuperCup - 1
World Club Championship - 1.5

And if your squad is completely HG then the points will be double the one 75% points

End of season squad points. You get 1 point for every player in your squad, so if you have 20 players you get points. But then for every none HG player you have you lose 2 points. So if you have 20 players and 7 no HG players, you would get 6 points.

isn't jose reina also homegrown for barca because i know he started there im just not sure if he has that status

reina definately played for Barca... i think he came through the academy too.

Started doin this challenge, thought I would just try and do it 100% from the academy. Any suggestions for other players that came through that are at other clubs?

I've started this challenge, sold everyone bar Thuram, Deco and Toure, because noone would buy them.

Im loving the challenge, im definatley going to try this one. Im expecting the fans to get on my back with selling all the best players... henry etc. Good challenge though.
