safcgowland
Has anyone else seen a goal keeper who can is also 'accomplished' as an outfield player. I've just started managing in 2023 and my keeper can play both in goal and right wing. Surely this can't be right. Don't know how to post a screenshot otherwise I would! ZentSPB
Perhaps he played on the right wing during his youth, though it does seem rather peculiar.
SWaRFeGa
There's a Spanish fella in my game. GK & Left-midfield. But he's a real player, rather than a newgen.
Alaa
I knew a GK, used to play for Malkiya Club - Bahrain, five or six years ago, who was capable of playing as target man, and scored many goals too. not only that, he's really fast, and good with his long shots. I asked about him, and i've been told that once in a game against Ahli Club, their GK sent off after using their 3 subs, and he took his place, and he was good. since then, the manager told him that he's better as goalkeeper than a striker. so.. he's a GK now. Reccy
Had a GK who was Yellow at MC. (His stats were awful for both) as a newgen for my Ajax team, he actually preformed pretty well at youth level (well according to the stats, P15, C11, CS 8)

whilewolf
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jorge_Campos is the first name that came to mind. I have never seen a newgen GK who can also play out field though.
eplkewell
Just did a search on my game; found four goalkeepers who are also outfield players. They're all regens.
Ninian Park 1910 - 2009
on fm11, i was a unemployed manager who could only get non league team, when i joined they had 6 goal keepers, 1 striker, 5 midfielders, 7 defenders..............now after several injuries, it came down to desperatly needing points, so i started going for the draw, because i had 3 midfielders fit, 0 stirkers, 4 defenders and 5 keepers, fit, so i decied to have a solid back 4, and 4 man midfield, and stuck my 2 best kicking keepers upfront with the "shot on sight" basically, they hit the target 6/10 times, 2/6 then hit the target, the other 4 won me a corner, which sometimes nabbed me a goal, so keepers can play outfield

Lathund
On an old version, one of the CM3 engine versions I think, I had this bug in a long-term save where Manchester United were retraining several of their outfield players into goalkeepers. Nicky Butt was a GK/DMC, as were 4-5 other players. Really odd.
