Trouble renewing staff contracts

I'm in 2027 with AIK in the swedish top division.

I received the annual message about expiring contracts.

When i proceeded to renew the staff contracts a few of them gave me the message:

"<staff> has retired from this level of football"

Where <staff> is the name of the staff member.

He has not retired, he's still under contract for another year, and he's still at he club working like he should.

I saw this with another staff member who recently left me, because i couldn't renew his contract, due to the fact i can't

negotiate a contract, because of this message.

The staff member that left was a coach.

Now i have problems with my Assistant, a fitness coach and 2 scouts.

Why is it like this? Surely this can't be right.

PS! My assistant manager is 40 years old.

Check his information screen. Does it say he´s retiring at the end of the season or something? However, AM retiring at the age of 40 does seem a little odd yes although not unheard of, espesially in such a low league as the Swedish. Maybe his wife got a good job offer and he´s following her to become a stay at home dad

Nah, it doesn't say anything about him retiring at the end of the season.

However, it does say that he's retired from professional football. Wonder if there's a conflict there somewhere.

Think i'll raise the issue in the bugs forum.

I was the one who hired his gorgeous wife.

She's working full time at my home now
