James9
I am playing the game through steam and my game has been updated with the new patch that was released on the 15th December. However I do not want to play the game with the new patch. How do I delete the new patch from the game so that I can play with the old patch

FrazT
In order not to update the game automatically, you must have steam set to offline and turn down the offer to go online when you start the game . It is very difficult now to go back to a previous patch once the game has bee updated.
BSX
And if we uninstall and reinstall the game (CD-version) ?? Is it possible to avoid 12.1 patch ?
milnerpoint
nope steam will only allow you to install the newest version of the game.
pigfacemonkeyman
nope steam will only allow you to install the newest version of the game. So you can't load the original game from the disk without Steam making you download the updates?
milnerpoint
No, because you need to validate the game through steam and as soon as you do that it will upload the newest version of the game, you already know this tho, as usual your trying your best to highlight what you see as Steam failings.
