Legionaire
I think junior coaching and youth recruitment affect youth intake, facilities only affect training.
phnompenhandy
That's my specialism! The better the junior coaching and youth recruitment, the higher the PA the kids will have (and possibly CA too). The better the youth facilities, training and coaching you have, the more their CA will improve.
Guest avine
Also with excellent recruitment network and state-of-the art facilities you may get to attract youth players from another continent. Btw i have a question about youth players:i dont know, while spending on players is it easy to find youngsters who are willing to sign youth contracts for you?especially in the first months of a new game,if you are looking to strengthen your youth squad. I believe i have a balanced setup as a football world(chosen countries) every time i start a new game but i usually dont find at all any players who are good enough or willing to join with a youth contract. Its realistic but are you doing any better that this?
Guest avine
Here is something more about having better quality youngsters: Which countries outperform compared to population in producing the best football talent at U-21? Total UEFA Coefficient / Population in millions / Population rank within Europe / Underperforms- Outperforms+ (A-E) 1 England / 37,459 / 51,5 / 6 / 5 2 Spain / 36,608 / 47,1 / 7 / 5 3 Netherlands / 34,863 / 16,6 / 11 / 8 4 Italy / 34,378 / 60,5 / 5 / 1 5 Sweden / 34,172 / 9,4 / 19 / 14 6 Czech Republic/ 34,167 / 10,5 / 16 / 10 7 Russia / 32,672 / 141,9 / 1 / 6 8 Serbia / 32,392 / 7,3 / 25 / 17 9 Germany / 32,372 / 81,6 / 2 / 7 For full european list source: http://sportspath.typepad.com/files/u-21-talent-development-compared-to-population---siggi-eyjolfsson-1.pdf It would be nice to have some sort of confirmation from someome in SI or anyone who has knowledge how youth contracts and Youth Players are designed to work

Guest avine
They are for real-life based on calculations of the author Paul. I would guess imo that the Total UEFA Coefficient is a result based on good work in national U-21 teams rather than an indication of outperforming/underperforming in producing the best football talent. But in any case this paper has a point and is based in real life data. I dont know in what level they are simulated in fm
