Davey Boy
im manager promises this is in Javier Pastores general happeness. Has promised he will sign a new contract. Me or him?
Ackter
You need to offer him a new contract to fulfil that promise. Though please mention it in the bugs forum as well, as that's worded really badly.
Whirlwind
Surely that means if offered a reasonable contract he will agree to sign. Not much wrong with the wording if that's the case. Rather different from the "Has been promised a new contract" line where you promised the player a contract. Unless SI actually ****ed this up. Don't think so though, since they usually leave most such things alone and simply add more stuff.
JimbobWWFC
But it's a 'manager' promise... so it doesn't look right that the player has promised something, because usually in that box it would say something like 'has been promised more first-team starts' etc
Davey Boy
I mean he just signed a brand new contract a few weeks ago (weeks in game)
