Le Tissier's Nose
I will be cheekily playing at work over the slow christmas period and I use Windows 7 and I wondered if there's any way I can change the icon from the red square with 12 in, to a more formal looking possibly work related icon like the Excel one for example! I've found the Application in steamapps > common > fm 12 but when I right click and go to Properties it doesn't say Change Icon anywhere... Is this at all possible?? Any help appreciated
JimbobWWFC
:D Can you create a shortcut somewhere with a default icon, then assign FM to that shortcut?
Graham FM
or just dont have a shortcut on your desktop and in c:program files/ steam just change the name of that folder to something else??
Ackter
right click on the shortcut > properties > change icon for the desktop shortcut. Other than that, just hide the taskbar so he can't see it...
Le Tissier's Nose
To clarify, it's not a Desktop icon I want to change, I don't have a shortcut on there. But in Windows 7 when anything is running it has the logo at the bottom of the screen. That's what I'd like to change. JimbobWWFC I will see if your suggestion works, thanks! Enjoy.
Le Tissier's Nose
Jimbob's suggestion worked a treat! And thanks Eugene Tyson too because that link you posted is handy for just general home use Yeah got to hate firewalls, especially if they prevent FMage! I have it running now with a boring Notepad icon hahaha, get in......
