So far my youth player who is out on loan to another club and listed for transfer isn't getting any offers, so i was just wondering if this is possible, and what would happen if he is sold in the end. If sold, the transfer would go through immediately (or in the next transfer window). If you want to sell him I recommend recalling him if he has a recall clause. Teams are less likely to make a permanent offer if the player on the transfer list is on loan elsewhere.
