postal postie
fair enough, i've only had 3 opportunities to give a pre-season team meeting. 1st oportunity i didn't know about it and preceded to do really bad with my Liverpool team before being sacked in December time. 2nd opportunity was a second save game. after giving the pre-season team meeting we did really well and ifinished the season in 4th place with a League Cup. 2nd season, and my 3rd opportunity to give the pre-season meeting and i forget again. I'm now doing really badly. has anyone else experienced the benefits of the pre-season team meeting and does it make that much of a difference to the way your team plays? i would also add that if it is that important, the assistant manager should be telling me to take it. Lenzar
I've been doing the meetings once a month or so. If Mario opens his mouth, morale gets ruined across the board, but otherwise they have a generally uplifting effect on morale.
Soverntear
I did not do them for the first 5 seasons, then we were having a terrible runin the championship 15th at jan 1st. started doing monthly team meetings and we shot up to 4th and won promotion in the tournament. so in short yes they seem to have a huge impact
postal postie
you can do them every month? when i go to that screen on any other time other than just before the league startrs or we are having a poor run of form, it just says there is no need to have a meeting. Kain
I don't bother with team meetings at all. Had about 4 or 5, morale dropped considerably after all of them, so I've decided it's best if I never speak to any of my players. Seems to be working too. postal postie
Kain, you just need to wokr on your man management skills i did take a team meeting just before the last 5 games of the season and managed to upset alot of my players. i asked stevie g to say somethng and he brought them back on side. had a good few results after that
Vhyle
I may need a team meeting after my first 3 games, but I'm at 1 win 1 draw and 1 loss, morale is superb so I dunno what the deal is. I think I need to keep a set squad playing together instead of swapping players around.
Heath Matthias
They are the cheesiest things around. Players saying "YEAH!! WHAT HE SAID!!" they make me laugh, because they are almost parodies.
Coentrao
Never done a pre-season meeting before, only use them when i'm on a bad streak and sometimes they can be very helpful though they can also backfire.
