Ceirdiff
Good luck Dec! PS, it's Aberywstwyth, not Aber - at first I thought you were managing Swansea (Swansea is Abertawe)
Declan Barry
I know it is but I cannot spell that right off the top of my head and Ollie goes to the Uni and refers to it as Aber (also it is a bit of a hommage to the band).
Ceirdiff
Quick bit of trivia, Aberdeen is Welsh for the mouth of the river. There Abertawe, Aberdare, Aberystwyth, Aberhonddu, etc. (Oh, and if you think Aberystwyth is bad you haven't sat a Welsh GCSE...Man...) Anyways, good luck with your career. Declan Barry
I haven't and by the sounds of it I don't want to . Lucky for me there is only one Aber in the Welsh Premier League. I have done the 2012/13 season too and I feel this is going to entertain me for a while due to the poor standard of the Welsh leagues.

Declan Barry
I am winning the Welsh League at a canter, not won any national competition as I tend to rotate as I've a very small squad. The CL is the hardest and is allowing me attract a few average players but I am struggling to beat the other champions.

Jugster
Hi Dec, I tried out Llannelli and think i had a bit more to spend (ie not much) but finished the first season W:30, D:0, L:2 and winning both cups, just playing 4-4-2 and some 4-3-3. Champions League was identiical., got to thee playoff round and lost by one goal scored in the last minute. The Europa League was virtually the same. I got one draw at home, largely because the French team had 4 goals disallowed for offside, which must be a record. Having dominated the league in one season I lost interest and moved to England! Be interesting to see if you ever make any headway in the Europa League.
Declan Barry
I have nothing to spend. The majority of the way I can afford Bosmans is by selling and transferring wage budget. I am hoping next season I can get to the Champions League groups. Nice to know someone else has tried Wales .
Jugster
Well you've picked a tough one. I reckon Llanelli, Neath and Bangor are the teams with bigger wage budgets and a little cash. Aberystwyth start with next to nothing - very hard indeed. Once you have managed to pull together a decent team - good enough to get anywhere in Europe, the Welsh league won't be any kind of challenge though which is the problem i feel. Jugster
You can always quit and get another job to do it all over again. And then it will be a challenge Indeed. I can also drive to Wales and attempt to play the game at the top of Snowdonia in the middle of winter, naked. That would also be a challenge, but it doesn't mean it's actually worthwhile or sensible to do.

tjay
Are your midfielders lined up as two DMs behind a MC with those roles, or as two MCs behind an AMC with those roles. Thanks for the tactical info.
Declan Barry
I use a MC and a DMC behind a creative MC (I don't have/cannot attract a decent AMC). Both players behind my AMC are pretty solid all over.

Declan Barry
It isn't really needed in the Welsh Premier League and my DMC gets forward a bit too however, I like to play him v Arsenal to give me more of a natural defensive stability when we are 20-1 to win at home. Declan Barry
Thanks, I am not going to lie and say it is down to having good players as it isn't. It was purely luck with me defending a lot in many games (for example I moved the AMC to DMC v Barca to stop Messi) and hoping to hold on - Barca had a goal ruled offside.
