Trouble getting back on a network game in FM2011

Me and my mate are playing a network game. When we were playing the computer kicked him off and he couldn't get back on. It kicked him off a few times but he was always able to get back on pretty much straight away but not that time.

Anyway I had just played a game when it done it and so had to take control of his team and move it on so I could save it.

Today he was able to get back on it but my computer still has control of his team and we cant give it back to him. It said something like pick a user but wouldn't let him control his team.

Anybody any ideas
